Dear INITIATION Family,
Safety always comes first, and with this in mind, we’ve made an important decision regarding the location of INITIATION NYE Festival 24/25. After thorough assessment, it became clear that the previous site carried a significant risk of flooding. The possibility of an evacuation during the festival was simply not a risk we were willing to take for our guests, staff, and artists.
In record time, and with the incredible support of the local council, we’ve secured an amazing new site: Warwick Horse Trials Club, Morgan Park, QLD. This venue is just a short distance from our original site and offers several advantages that we’re excited to share:
Increased Safety: A much lower risk of weather disruptions, ensuring a more secure and enjoyable experience for everyone.
More Shade & Camping Amenities: The new site features shaded areas and established camping infrastructure, offering added comfort for all attendees.
Better Neighbourhood Dynamics: Located further away from residential areas, this location is ideal for the immersive experience we aim to create.
We’re also thrilled to announce the introduction of Premium Campsites with power! These limited spots will be available for booking on our website starting Monday, December 2nd, so don’t miss your chance to secure your spot.
As we get closer to the festival, tickets are flying out the door. At this rate, we’re on track for a sold-out event, so if you haven’t locked in your tickets yet, now is the time!
